Unity locks to a rigid 120-BPM grid, its kick landing with the dead thud of a warehouse door slammed shut. Lavrov colours inside the dub-techno lines—saturated chords, tape-hissed pads, submerged percussion—but the energy is merciless, pressing every element towards red. That 4A key signature drapes the whole thing in a stern minor-key gloom that refuses the room even a moment’s respite. It is a peak-time tunneling device, best flung in when the floor is tacky and the lights are low. There is no breakdown bait, no ambient cushioned interlude; only an unrelenting forward motion that converts dub techno’s usual introspection into blunt physical coercion. I would wedge it after a warmer cut and watch shoulders lock to its grid.
